I'm Kirtan, a technologist who builds things. For the past 20 years, I've been fascinated by how software systems evolve and scale—from monoliths to microservices, from on-premise to cloud, and now into the era of AI-first architectures.

I spend my days architecting platforms that handle millions of transactions, designing data pipelines that make sense of chaos, and integrating AI models that actually solve real problems. I've built payment systems, IoT platforms, analytics engines, and more recently, autonomous agents that can reason and act.

What drives me is the intersection of what's technically possible and what's practically useful. I believe the best technology is invisible—it just works, scales gracefully, and enables teams to move fast.

Current interests

Right now I'm particularly interested in multi-agent systems and how to design APIs that feel natural to both humans and LLMs. I'm exploring ideas for augmenting various enterprise functions with AI to amplify human productivity, and thinking long term about the impact of AI on US manufacturing specifically for our clients. I'm also exploring edge computing patterns and how to build systems that gracefully degrade when things go wrong.
